Discharge of Firearms in Brewer:

The City of Brewer regulates the discharge of firearms. Throughout most of the city, discharge of firearms is prohibited altogether. There are some areas where discharge of firearms is limited to specific weapons (i.e. shotguns and muzzle loaders) and relatively small sections of Brewer where discharge of rifles is allowed. It is the responsibility of the individual hunter or target shooter to comply with local ordinances and state laws.
