Brewer PD investigation results in arrest of Oxycontin trafficker 12/10/2009

BREWER, Maine - On December 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Brewer Police Officers, with the assistance of the Federal DEA Task Force, executed a search warrant at the Elmwood Street residence of JOSHUA RUSSELL, age 23. Prior to the execution of the search warrant, Russell had been suspected of dealing narcotics. The resulting investigation led primary case officer Amy Nickerson to develop probable cause to obtain a search warrant for Russell’s home. Read more here..

Bangor pair arrested in thefts of auto parts 11/14/09

Suspect in 2 armed robberies nabbed in drive-through lane 9/25/09

BREWER, Maine — A Fairfield man who allegedly flashed a handgun while robbing two area businesses in two days was caught by a police officer who saw him sitting in a fast food restaurant’s drive-through two hours after the second robbery. Read more here..

Car burglars caught in the act - multiple crimes solved 9/4/2009.

During the past several weeks both Brewer and Bangor have been plagued with car burglaries occurring during the night time and early morning hours. During the past week, Brewer PD has caught 4 individuals in the act of committing car burglaries. Read more here..
